Poppi Art arrives At Las Rozas Village and La Roca Village
This autumn Las Rozas Village (Madrid) and La Roca Village (Barcelona), two of the nine Chic Outlet Shopping® Villages by Value Retail, will welcome an exhibition by Madrid artist Felipao. Named “Fashion & Chic by Felipao”, the collection of 13 Poppi sculptures will be exhibited throughout October and November.
The exhibition, which will open on 6th October in Madrid, is comprised of a series of 13 unique, customised, limited edition French bulldogs, which are made using different techniques and materials. The exhibition will include two bulldogs reflecting the Village’s specific styles and character: Poppi Streets for Las Rozas Village and Poppi Pretty for La Roca Village.
The Poppis, which are the generic name that the designer has given the works, are a visual and tactile art concept maintaining the texture, size and form of the real dog. The works represent the passion that the artist feels for pop art, and fashion. The 13 Poppis are:
1. Poppi Streets Las Rozas Village – In honour of the streets of glamour
(will only be exhibited in Las Rozas Village).
2. Poppi Pretty La Roca Village – In honour of pretty women
(will only be exhibited in La Roca Village).
3. Funky Tiger – Covered in blue and silver sequins.
4. Feather Queen – Peacock feathers are the mainstay of this customisation.
5. Fashionist – Utilising the whole colour spectrum.
6. Sex and the city – Python green and purple glitter, totally Carrie in style.
7. Leather Victim - His outfit is made of black leather.
8. Chic Addict – He can’t resist glamour and luxury stores.
9. Pink Punk - Lady Gaga-style.
10. Zebra – Various daring colours.
11. Around the World – Inspired by the cosmopolitan globe.
12. Lord – The most elegant dog in the world. He even has cufflinks!
13. Atelier - Thimble and thread, essential for a designer.
Felipao has also designed Limited Edition T-shirts which will be on sale in both Villages. All profits raised from the sale of the T-shirts will go to the ANAA Association (National Friends of Animals Association).

• Exhibition opening in Madrid – Thursday 6th October
• Exhibition in Las Rozas Village – Friday 7th to Sunday 23rd October.
• Exhibition in La Roca Village – Thursday 27th October to Monday 14th November.
