Peaches Geldof
We’ve always been fascinated by the effort everyone makes at red carpet events and kept an eye out for the celebs who really push the style boundaries. No stranger to such proceedings is Peaches Geldof. Backstage at the launch of The Chic Guide to Europe in Barcelona, where she covered the event for Chic TV, we asked Peaches to share her red-carpet, ready-style secrets, and here they are…
Kate Moss always looks great on the red carpet as her style is so uncontrived and unique. She can veer between high glamour and casual chic, and always pulls it off with aplomb. My fave outfit worn to a premiere is a leopard print Dolce & Gabbana floor-length, chiffon dress and it was great to check out their boutique at La Roca Village.
I am lucky enough to have fantastic relationships with the designers. They always dress me, and I love how their designs are very sexy and über feminine. Right now I love Chanel because it's classic. I like the simple black and whites they always go back to; their catwalk collections also always translate well onto the high street. I also love Miu Miu because their stuff is so kitsch and fun.
With regards to men’s red carpet glam, I think that Julian Casablancas from The Strokes has a great red-carpet look. He stays true to his rock-star roots in skinny Dior suits teamed with a leather jacket. I also love Zooey Deschanel's 1950s style. She loves the 50s silhouette and a quirky label.
