Elizabeth Hurley
I am a shopping fiend and, like everyone else in the world, love nothing more than snapping up a bargain, which is why I was a huge fan of Chic Outlet Shopping® even before I launched my own Beach Huts in Bicester Village, Kildare Village, Ingolstadt Village and La Roca Village.
The trouble with everything being anything up to 60% off the usual retail price is that I invariably end up buying twice as much as I’d intended. If I am torn between two colours, and the item in question is half price, there is an almighty temptation to buy both.
At this time of year, shopping trips are often centred around beachwear. Since launching Elizabeth Hurley Beach, I have frenziedly researched fabrics, designs, styles and cuts and we have something for every shape and size. Almost everyone – myself included – has a different size top and bottom, so all mine are sold separately.
For those who are adamant that their tummies can never be viewed, try a fabulous one piece swimsuit, made in a very fine Lycra, so there is no digging in and no unsightly bulges. If you worry about your bottom looking big, go for a higher cut leg; it may show more flesh but cut matters more than coverage – and your legs will look longer. Bottoms should never dig in so buy a larger size and cut out the label if it annoys you! Remember that strings or side ties distract attention from bot size – so they are to be highly recommended. Adjustable halter necks give amazing boosts to anybody’s cleavage; we have a ring bikini called June which serves this purpose beautifully, as well as another called Bella, which can be adjusted at both the neck and the front for an excellent décolletage.
Unless you are 17, it is always advisable to have some wonderful cover-ups to throw over your beachwear, so we also have a glorious array of sarongs, tunics and kaftans in wonderful sexy, floaty fabrics.
Happy shopping, and remember that Bicester Village sells an amazing array of suitcases in case you get too carried away.
